I can help you on the path back to being yourself and help you improve the quality of your life.
You may be anxious, depressed, bereaved, angry, stressed, confused, experiencing suicidal feelings, having relationship or family difficulties, lack confidence or self - esteem and any of these painful feelings alone can leave you feeling overwhelmed. My strengths are helping clients of all ages with this range of issues and others and I have empowered many people by helping them make sense of what is happening and enabled them to make the changes they need to move forward, feeling more able to cope.
I am an experienced (BACP Registered and Accredited), compassionate and approachable counsellor, providing counselling based on respect, trust and sensitivity. I provide a safe space to reflect upon and explore your personal issues at your pace.
Using my wide range of qualifications, I use different skills and theories to tailor counselling to your individual needs. Theories include CBT, TA, person-centred counselling, Sandtray and other creative approaches.
In addition to private practice, I have worked as a Counsellor with primary school children at St Andrews Church School in Taunton and have previous experience a counsellor working with young people in two local secondary schools. I also work with a number of Employee Assistance Providers helping employees in brief therapy.
I charge a rate of £40 per session. I also offer a free introductory session and some concessions.
